Accreditation By Global Ecolabelling Network

CII has received accreditation for its GreenPro Ecolabel certification from Global Ecolabelling Network (GEN) through GENICES – GEN’s Internationally Coordinated Ecolabelling System. Global Ecolabelling Network is a network of Ecolabelling Organisations that advocates for Type 1 Ecolabel based on ISO 14024 standards and articulates their credibility.

The accreditation by GEN:

• Assures that GreenPro Ecolabel certification is at par with international standards and protocols for green product labeling.
• Creates an excellent opportunity for GreenPro Ecolabelled products to gain international recognition.
• Facilitates enhanced global market outreach and create export opportunities

Launch Of GreenPro Ecolabelling Standard For Solar PV Module At Green Power Conference

CII GreenPro with support of all stakeholders including product manufacturers, testing laboratories, consultants and end users has developed GreenPro Ecolabelling standard for solar PV module to enable the end users to select credible high performing rooftop solar photovoltaic modules. The ecolabel will be based on performance testing of solar photovoltaic modules by a 3rd party laboratories and verifiers. The GreenPro Ecolabelling standard was released by Mr Ramesh Kymal Chairman, RE Council – CII Godrej GBC and CMD, Siemens Gamesa Renewable Power Pvt. Ltd at 18 th edition of Green Power Conference, Chennai.

CII GreenPro, IFC, IPA And IAPMO Join Hands To Promote Water Efficient Plumbing Fixtures In India

CII GreenPro in association with the Indian Plumbing Association and International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) has developed the GreenPro Ecolabel Certification standard for Water-Efficient Plumbing Fixtures, Sanitaryware, Clothes Washer and Dish Washers. This has been done with the support of all stakeholders including product manufacturers, testing laboratories, consultants and end-users.
The GreenPro certification standard was released by Mr. Tuyen D. Nguyen, Principal Operations Officer, IFC at 3rd edition of GreenPro Summit, Pune.
