Accreditation by Global Ecolabelling Network

CII has received accreditation for its GreenPro Ecolabel certification from Global Ecolabelling Network (GEN) through GENICES – GEN’s Internationally Coordinated Ecolabelling System. Global Ecolabelling Network is a network of Ecolabelling Organisations that advocates for Type 1 Ecolabel based on ISO 14024 standards and articulates their credibility.

GreenPro Ecolabel certification assesses how green is a product based on holistic product life cycle approach. The certification system guides the manufacturers to improve their products green performance and position them as green and eco-friendly.

Recognition by UN Environment

UN Environment has tested their ‘Guidelines for Product Sustainability Information’ on GreenPro Ecolabelling. The guideline is based on the following principles.
